Returns & risk
What can go wrong, and what we do about it
Return is generated by production, not by interest. That means it is exposed to production risk: disease and mortality in livestock, weather and pest pressure in crops, and price movement in the market at the point of sale.
If a cycle underperforms, the return lands below the estimated band. In a severe case — a disease outbreak or a total crop failure — capital can be lost. We do not offer a guarantee, and no honest agricultural platform can.
How risk is reduced
- Graded, DLS-compliant inputs instead of whatever the local market has
- Veterinary and agronomy cover built into the project cost
- Weekly monitoring against a written project SOP
- Cooperative-level field verification of every recorded value
- B2B buyers arranged before the cycle closes, not on sale day
- Diversification across cycles, species and districts
Before you invest
Is this a loan?
No. You are funding a production cycle and sharing in its outcome. There is no interest, and no fixed repayment obligation on the producer.
What is the minimum?
It is set per project. Units currently range from ৳ 10,000 to ৳ 1,30,000.
How do I get paid?
At maturity, to your linked bank account or mobile wallet. You can also roll the return into the next cycle.
